What is a 90-Minute Adventure Walk?

A longer walk for dogs who love to explore.

90-Minute Adventure Walk gives active dogs a proper 90-minute outing with more time for movement, sniffing, enrichment and changing scenery. Routes can make use of woodland, countryside, coast or larger green spaces rather than a short neighbourhood circuit.

We still build the walk around your dog, the weather and the day. A meet and greet helps us understand fitness, handling, equipment, triggers and any limits before regular adventure walks begin.

Routes, terrain & conditions

A longer walk gives us more choice — not a fixed hike every time.

Adventure routes depend on collection area, fitness, confidence, weather and ground conditions. That can mean woodland around Guisborough, coastal walking near Redcar or larger green routes around Middlesbrough and Stockton when they are the right fit.

Guisborough & woodland

Woodland-style routes can offer varied terrain and lots of sniffing for dogs comfortable with a more active environment.

Redcar coast

Coastal routes can be brilliant when weather, temperature, footing and the dog's confidence all make sense.

Fitness first

Ninety minutes is only useful when the dog has the fitness and routine for it. Longer is not automatically better.

Weather can change the plan

Heat, wind, heavy rain or poor ground conditions can mean changing route, pace or recommending a different service.

Who it suits

For dogs who want a bigger day out.

Usually a great fit

Active dogs who enjoy longer outings
Dogs needing more distance and enrichment
Dogs suited to woodland, countryside or coastal routes
Dogs comfortable with a varied walking environment
Owners wanting a more substantial walking service

We may suggest another walk if...

Your dog needs a shorter or gentler outing
They are building fitness or confidence gradually
They are happier with a quieter one-to-one hour
A 90-minute adventure would be more than they need

30-Minute Dog Walk or Solo Dog Walk may be a better fit when a shorter or calmer service would suit your dog better.

Local dog walking across Teesside

90-minute adventure dog walks across Teesside for dogs who need more time outside.

90-Minute Adventure Walk is our longer walking option for dogs with the fitness and confidence for a more substantial outing.

The extra time creates room for longer routes, more sniffing and more varied surroundings. Depending on collection area and conditions, that may include woodland, countryside, coastal routes or larger local green spaces.

A longer walk is only useful when it suits the dog. We consider fitness, confidence, weather, ground conditions, handling and route choice before deciding whether a 90-minute adventure is appropriate.

The destination is never guaranteed purely for the sake of a photograph. Heat, strong wind, heavy rain, busy routes or unsuitable footing can all mean adapting the outing.

Choosing the right service

Useful before you book.

We do not try to fit every dog into the same service. The meet and greet, your dog's routine, confidence, energy, handling needs and location all help us decide what will work best.

Common questions

90-Minute Adventure Walk FAQs.

Practical answers about how the service works before you enquire.

How long is a 90-Minute Adventure Walk?

90-Minute Adventure Walk is a 90-minute walking service for dogs suited to a longer outing. The time allows more movement, sniffing and route variety, but the pace and distance still depend on the individual dog and conditions on the day.

Is 90-Minute Adventure Walk suitable for every dog?

No. Age, fitness, confidence, health, handling needs and weather all matter. A 90-minute outing can be too much for some dogs, in which case 30-Minute Dog Walk or Solo Dog Walk may be the more appropriate service.

What kind of routes do you use?

Routes depend on collection area and conditions and may include larger parks, woodland, countryside, coast or other green spaces. Guisborough woodland and Redcar coastal routes are examples of the kinds of environments that may be used when suitable.

What happens in very hot or bad weather?

The route, pace or service may need to change if heat, wind, heavy rain, ice or poor ground conditions make the planned adventure unsuitable. The dog's safety and comfort come before completing a particular route.

Which areas do you cover?

90-Minute Adventure Walk is available across our current Middlesbrough, Redcar, Guisborough and Stockton-on-Tees routes, subject to postcode, collection practicality and availability.

How do you know whether my dog is fit enough?

We use the meet and greet, your information about normal exercise and early experience with the dog to judge whether the service looks appropriate. We do not assume every active-looking dog needs the longest walk.
